American Floyd is a Pink Floyd Tribute band made up of a group of musicians (formerly known as Brain Damage) dedicated to the genius of Pink Floyd by way of live performance of song, music and lights. We are among the best of Kansas City tribute bands. Five performers who have played the original Pink Floyd genre for years with a mix of moving heads, RGB spots, lasers, beams, trussing, haze and round screen video imagery to bring you the Pink Floyd experience. The music of Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason, Syd Barrett and David Gilmour has made Pink Floyd one of the most iconic bands of all time.
