The group was created by Scott Willis, after 13 years of successfully booking, and performing in, Sharp Dressed Man, the #1 ZZ Top Tribute Show internationally.
The keys to a great tribute act are to recreate the music extremely well, make it a visual experience, and to engage the crowd. Related to paying tribute to Foo Fighters, it's most important to have a Dave Grohl clone as frontman. After an extensive regional search, Matt Cox of Lawrence, KS emerged. Not only is his appearance fantastic, but his vocals, his guitar playing, his energetic stage performances - all the pieces are there. This is what makes The Foo Crew such a great show.
There's no doubt that Foo Fighters are extremely popular. People worldwide, along a wide demographic, absolutely love Foo Fighters songs and the live show especially. The Foo Crew is proud to recreate that great experience at events.
